Look: I am eager to learn stuff I don't know--which requires actively courting and posting smart disagreement.

But as you will understand, I don't like to post things that mischaracterize and are aimed to mislead.

Sunday Music Blogging

Nice rendition of some gentle early Baroque music.

Random Surreal Generator

Viva Andre Breton! Surrealism's a bit too edgy and weird for academics, now--not PC however, and not approved by PoMos (even tho'Lacan hung with surrealists for a while). Take a look at say the EotAW cronies, or Berube: not a surrealist among 'em. Too frenchy, and these days Haar Doktor Professors aren't required to read a word of French, or latin (well, Berubay might--), except maybe when it's on the menu at Cafe Philistine.

I put it there on a whim. Not sure if I'll keep it. Depends on how much it amuses me.

I aint no academic. Don't know no French. Took Spanish in H.S, German in College. Didn't do well in either, and it's been a very long time.

I do love the absurd. Maybe I'll Frenchify myself, just to annoy the neocons.

Cheers!

That was a beautiful piece, the sound was so peaceful.
My granddaughter plays both electric and acoustic guitar. I enjoy listing to her make music :)
