Shadow Shot Sunday - 1/24

Sleek golden-throated
Horn, sound of liquid sunlight
Casts silver shadow.

This is not poetic license.  The bell section is sterling silver, with a 24 carat gold wash inside.

For a view of the golden throat, see here.

O jazz trombonist,
can you really bear to let
your horn just stand there?

Beautiful photo. Just right. The shadow is just right, the sheet music is just right. And seeing a trombone ALWAYS makes me happy! Now pick that horn up and blow, my friend!

Ha! You gotta love MMT! Good one.

This is a most interesting blog space. I will have to visit more often, if you please. :-)

Thanks for the visits and kind words.

You made me give in to peer pressure. I spent some time playing blues in Bb this afternoon. For some reason, it always wants to drift into F . . .

Cheers!

Oh! feel hearing the trombone playing with my dad's sax and niece piano. Can be the best relaxation for the evening.

Love your romantic shot.
