This should be the best time of life, but . . . (instead, we are become flaming squid huggers)
Look: I am eager to learn stuff I don't know--which requires actively courting and posting smart disagreement.
But as you will understand, I don't like to post things that mischaracterize and are aimed to mislead.

I couldn't get into it either.
Some people might think
your Olympic ridicule
pegged you as a fool!
(I hasten to say that I'm not one of them!)

It's marginally amusing to see the athletes' parade, and I did appreciate the recognition of the First Nations.
The rest of it was egregious Canadian nationalism, and supremely disappointing.
I like Canada and admire the Canadian people, but had neither the patience nor the stomach for that display.

Sounds like a lot of things bored you today. Maybe tomorrow you'll roll off the other side of the bed and the world will be interesting again...

I didn't get to watch the opening ceremony. But I'm with you...it CAN be a BIG bore. These days, it seems to be just way too political anymore.
Happy Valentine's Day to you too!!!
I just KNOW your day will be filled with love and laughter.
Thanks for visiting with me yesterday. I got really busy and didn't get a chance to visit with you!!

Thanks Anni.

Actually those were specific reactions to particular things.
Since Thus, I been with 8 of the 11 grandchildren, my mother, mother in law, sister, several of my work colleagues, went to an SAE meeting, had three meals out, and drove a few hundred miles.
I'm not a bored person, but I do sometime encounter boring things.
Cheers!

I was a bit bored myself. Until things started kinda going wrong. Then I felt bad for them. And went to bed.
Thanks for playing 6WS!
