Very pretty, but I don't see the shadows. Am I not seeing the shadows for the flowers?

Actually, most of the picture is in shadow. there is a little band of direct sunlight at the very front edge of the picture, and more behind the flowers, hardly visible amidst the fallen leaves. Also, some light on the bricks in the background.
