Look: I am eager to learn stuff I don't know--which requires actively courting and posting smart disagreement.
But as you will understand, I don't like to post things that mischaracterize and are aimed to mislead.

I agree.
Einstein said there is no such thing as a coincidence.
WTF is starting to happen?
The Rethugs have taken over with a vengeance.
And Comcast will be their main vehicle of instructions to the masses?
Stay tuned.
Or don't.

After sleeping on it, here is my assessment.
I once made a dire prediction that if Keith went down, it would be the end of free speech and America, as we once knew it. When I said tht, Kieth was just about the only voice crying out in the TV wilderness.
Since then, MSNBC has added Rachel, Ed Shultz, just recently put Lawrence O'Donnell on a soap box, and now Cenk is coming in.
Everyone of them is a real liberal, while I think Keith was not so much that as a hard-thinking centrist who was appalled at what the Republicans had degenerated into, and a real Bush hater.
I have no hard knowledge, but have gotten the impression that Keith is a bit of a prick. I think he makes enemies behind the scenes, and that might have something to do with what is going on now.
So, on balance - I don't think now that this is as bad as I thought it would be when Keith was my only barometer for anti-Foxitude on the vast wasteland of TV.
Eight years is a good, long run, and who knows - Keith might be burned out.
The real trade here is Cenk for Keith, and Cenk is far more liberal, and every bit as outspoken, though probably not as smart and clever. It's a great career move for him. Looks like Chris Matthews is unaffected by everything swirling around him. He's not a bad guy, but he's such a doofus.
I'm curious where Keith will land. He's an important voice with a unique style.
Did you see Bill Mahar last night? David Stockman (?!?) was TEH AWESOME and Rachel ripped the idiot Steven Moore limb from limb, and he was too stupid to even realize what happened. She spoke from facts, he spoke from the play book. Everything that moron KNOWS is flat-assed wrong. Amazing.
Cheers!

I'm also very curious to see where Keith will land. I didn't watch him (or any other news-types for that matter) very often but there were times that I caught him saying things that I felt needed to be said. The seemingly abrupt circumstances are also interesting. So yes, curious for his future indeed.
