Fathers
We are roll models,
Teachers, guardians, guides, and
Fallibly human.
This should be the best time of life, but . . . (instead, we are become flaming squid huggers)
Look: I am eager to learn stuff I don't know--which requires actively courting and posting smart disagreement.
But as you will understand, I don't like to post things that mischaracterize and are aimed to mislead.

So true, fallible maybe, But there for us as children is what matters. It is the father that is not there that looses out.I enjoyed this very much.
So very true! Fallible maybe, but that is what makes you real.
Very true indeed, but it makes dads all the more lovable... I think. At least as a daughter I found it easier to forgive the faults in my dad.
Strange, I know.

We all expect our dad's to be infallible don't we?
so true... but then, fathers like you give infallible, unconditional love. that makes it all perfect. =) i love your haiku!
