With the election of Reagan in 1980 we have the full-force onset of policy designed to "fix" the problem.

I think it is always important to note that many of what we see as problems today were seen as solutions under Reaganomics. But it is important also to remember that there was a slowdown that had to be dealt with. A slowdown that, if we are to abandon Reaganomics, still has to be dealt with.

In other words, we still need a solution. The Arthurianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16501331051089400601noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4290163255778893789.post-19148924986371785582011-02-02T14:06:07.792-05:002011-02-02T14:06:07.792-05:00The right-wing mindset probably should be summariz...The right-wing mindset probably should be summarized as, "don't confuse me with the facts, my mind is made up!".

- Badtux the Snarky PenguinBadTuxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01345749557330760251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4290163255778893789.post-47837184097810243652011-02-02T10:07:51.992-05:002011-02-02T10:07:51.992-05:00Tux -

And after those started going the other way, hmm. Well, correlation isn't causation, they say. But at least we know that lower taxes, lower regulation, and lower union membership don't cause higher growth, 'cause there ain't no correlation there to find, yo.

- Badtux the Suspicions-confirmed PenguinBadTuxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01345749557330760251noreply@blogger.com
